FRESH START FOR ROVER CLUB

After almost 20 years in existence, the P6 Rover Owners’ Club is re-establishing itself as a business under the guiding hand of Deborah Squires, who has been an integral part of the club for more than a decade and responsible for both its magazine and much of its day-to-day running.

At an Extraordinary General Meeting held back in December, the remaining committee voted for this change to take place, which Deborah insists will ensure the future survival of the P6 Rover Owners’ Club and its expansion in the future. Plans are already in place for a busy 2010 show season, which will include a National Rally and a club stand at the NEC Classic Motor Show.
The club’s bi-monthly magazine – P6 News –
will now be published in full colour, and there will still be a team of technical advisers on hand to help with members’ questions. Monthly regional meetings will continue to be held across the UK.
