This car, complete with white finish, was the Earl’s Court Motor Show car and was once owned by Formula One team boss Rob Walker. It came to the Cambridgeshire-based TR specialist in August 2009 after being taken off the road in 1985. ‘The engine was seized, the paintwork was dull, the bumper was damaged and the interior was poor – but at least it was complete,’ says Chris. So, once the day’s TR business was done, Chris and the team spent their evenings turning this Ferrari from wreck to riches. Chris said, ‘It’s been a steep learning curve, but a great project to work on – once you get used to the parts prices.’ |
