To help mark the 75th birthday of Jaguar, the company has launched an iPhone and iPad app charting its entire history – available to download now by searching ‘Jaguar 75’ in iTunes.

The ‘Jaguar 75’ app pulls together a host of materials that tell the company’s story through the people and the machines that have made it such an icon – from the SS 2.5 Litre Saloon, through the legendary XK120, C-Type, D-Type, Mk 2 and E-Type, and on to today’s latest models. Our favourite Jaguar fact of all? Probably Sir William Lyons’ claim that when he asked guests at the launch of the original SS Jaguar 2.5 Litre how much they would expect to pay for such a car, the average guess was £632. And the actual price of the SS? A mere £385…
