Stacey Biltcliffe always vowed she’d own a classic British sports car by the age of 50. And just a few weeks before reaching her half century, she achieved her goal by winning a TVR Tamora – first prize in a competition being run by Avon Tyres.

An excited Stacey told us: ‘I’d always said to the family that I’d treat myself to a sports car when the kids are older, and that’s exactly what’s happened – but not in the way I thought it might. I first found out I’d won while in the passenger seat of a colleague’s car – I was glad I wasn’t driving, as I nearly leapt from my seat.’
