| DEALERSHIP SUFFERS FIRE |
| Thursday, 20 January 2011 14:34 |
Birmingham-based classic car dealership Windmill Motors recently suffered a fire in its workshops, which destroyed a Citroen Traction Avant and caused minor damage to a Mercedes-Benz and Rover SD1.
The cause of the blaze was a welding spark, created when the Citroen was undergoing routine work prior to being collected by its new owner. The spark went unnoticed, leading to the fire once the garage had been closed for the night. Windmill Motors proprietor Mike Yarm is happy to report, though, that it’s still business as usual – and that no other classics were affected.
