There's good news for fans of classic car events with the news that the 2011 Donington Historic Festival, taking place over 30 April - 1st May, has pledged ticket prices will be well below the usual cost of top-quality historic motorsport weekends. Advance tickets for adults are just £18 for the two day festival, which will feature over 300 iconic racing cars, off-track action, entertainment, demos, autojumble and much more.

From the 1930s to the 1980s, the Festival will include Group C Le Mans sportscars, Porsche 917s and Ferrari GTOs, pre-War Bentleys, Bugattis and Alfa Romeos to name but a few. Visitors will also be given free paddock access, allowing everyone to get up close to the cars, plus the displays, historic karts, memorabilia stalls, cafés, bars and food outlets – and club displays of selected classic marques, right next to the race paddock and trade village.

Advance tickets will start at just £18 for adults, with free entry for accompanied under-16-year-olds. On-the-gate adult tickets will be priced at £22.
