In fact, the absurdly named Mini Rocketman measures just over three metres – giving it an overall length impressively close to the original Mini’s of 1959. Quite what Sir Alec Issigonis would think of the Rocketman’s extra girth, however (not to mention its carbonfibre construction and double-hinged doors), we can only speculate… |
BMW surprised Mini fans at the recent Geneva Motor Show when it unveiled this new concept: the Mini Rocketman. And for anybody who thinks the current Mini is way too big to be called a Mini, this latest idea might come as a pleasant surprise.
