If you’re a fan of hot rods and custom cars, you won’t want to miss the South Coast Internationals, held as usual in the grounds of the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu, and described as the biggest event of its kind in the south.

This year’s show is the third of its type, and is scheduled for June 17-19. In 2010, more than 600 custom cars and ’bikes were in attendance, plus around 6,000 people – and the organisers are hoping for an even bigger turnout this year.

If you can’t make it for the whole weekend, don’t worry. Simply go along on the Sunday for the Hot Rod & Custom Drive-In Day, with owners invited to display their custom vehicles in the arena – and a large gathering of customs, rods and classic Americans is expected.
