The E-Type cavalcade – which is expected to stretch almost half a mile long and be accompanied by its own police escort – will take place on June 6, starting in central London and finishing alongside the Motorexpo exhibition space in London’s Canary Wharf. The 10-mile route will take in a host of famous London landmarks, including The Mall, Whitehall, Trafalgar Square and the Tower of London. The procession will involve a wide selection of E-Types, from the 1961 Series I launch model through to last-of-the-line examples from ’74. And when they arrive at Motorexpo, the Jaguars will join the 200-plus modern-day cars that make up the week-long exhibition. Motorexpo is open daily from 10am to 6pm (Monday, June 6 to Saturday, June 11) and 11am to 5pm on Sunday, June 12. For further details, go online to www.motorexpo.com. |
