BRISTOL’S NEW OWNER
Thursday, 12 May 2011 00:00

JuneNewsBristolBristol Cars has been saved from administration by Swiss firm Kamkorp Autokraft, part of the Frazer-Nash group. The Bristol car company – which was formed from the aircraft industry after World War II – was originally placed in administration at the beginning of March.

Plans for both Bristol and Frazer-Nash will be revealed in the coming months, though the new owner has already made clear its intention to use ‘cutting-edge electric and range extended powertrains’.

Group director of operations William Chia has tried to assure existing Bristol owners: “Even though these are early days in our tenure of the brand, we are committed to providing … the highest level of quality, technology and service.”
