The TF was re-introduced to the UK in 2008, three years after the collapse of MG Rover. The latest models were ‘batch produced’ from components and bodyshells imported from China, supplied by MG parent company SAIC. Initially available only in LE500 guise, a more affordable version of the TF – the 135 – was launched in 2009. Only the TF 135 remains in stock, priced at £14,213 – or £14,800 if you opt for the Style Pack option, which includes leather seats, silver interior trim and different alloy wheels. An output of 135 bhp is on offer from the 1.8-litre twin-cam powerplant. To locate your nearest MG dealer or to find out more about the remaining stocks of the TF 135, go online to www.mg.co.uk. |

It has been officially confirmed that no more examples of the MG TF sports car will be produced for the UK market, marking the end of an era for the company. And with fewer than 80 unregistered cars now thought to be still available, time is running out if you fancy a brand new slice of motoring history.
