As well as hundreds of private car entries, there were more club stands than ever this time round – with organisations like the Rover Sports Register, Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club, Yesterdays Caravan Touring Group, Air Bear Bunch Vee-Dub Club and Morris Minor Owners’ Club providing an eclectic mix of models. As ever, there was also a large assortment of commercials, tractors, campers and classic bikes, as well as trade and autojumble stalls. Look out for an even bigger event next Easter, as the show celebrates its quarter-century. |

The annual Midlands Festival of Transport – now in its 24th year – was held once again at its regular venue of Weston Park, Shropshire. And with almost 1500 vehicles in attendance on the Sunday, 2011 proved to be a record-breaking year.
