The 1969 Herbie-lookalike VW Beetle shown here could have been yours for £6950, its owner being forced to sell in order to fund a hot rod project. Or you might have been tempted by ’79 Triumph Spitfire (in need of restoration) at just £600, a ’59 Austin-Healey BN4 at £16k, or a 16,000-mile Triumph Stag from ’73 – yours for £12,500. Commercial vehicles on offer included a 1971 Morris Minor Van – described as being in concours condition and with period extras – for £9995, with a 1946 Bedford flat-bed lorry up at £12,000. The dates for the 2012 Spring Autojumble have already been released, so make sure you keep free the weekend of May 19/20 next year. |

At Beaulieu’s Spring Autojumble in May, it was the Cars For Sale section that proved almost as much of a draw as the 1,000-plus trade stalls – with an eclectic mix of classic vehicles on offer during the weekend.
