The SL Shop – the logically-named Worcestershire-based specialist in Mercedes-Benz SL sportsters – celebrated a major milestone recently, when Paul Gracie became the 300th customer to join the ranks of ‘Panzer Wagen’ ownership.

Being the company’s 300th buyer, it was appropriate that Paul placed a deposit on a 300SL – a stunning looking car finished in Signal Red.

Meanwhile, The SL Shop continues to go from strength to strength, thanks to the enduring appeal of the cars, as general manager Bruce Greetham explained: “Many people are using them as everyday cars, collectors are snapping up pristine low-mileage examples, and Paul is typical of most buyers who are using these cars on sunny Sundays or for the odd show or trip to work with the   hood down.”

Not bad for a model that is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
