BOND CARS HEADING FOR BEAULIEU

NovNewsDustyThe National Motor Museum, Beaulieu has unveiled plans to hold the largest exhibition of James Bond vehicles ever displayed, to celebrate the 50th year of the Bond franchise. It will run from January to December 2012.

A total of fifty four-wheeled stars of the most famous James Bond films will go on show – a list that includes the 2008 Aston Martin DBS from Quantum of Solace, the 2002 Jaguar XKR with SFX weapons from Die Another Day, the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 from Goldeneye and the 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom lll from Goldfinger. 

Beaulieu’s commercial director Stephen Munn commented: ‘Following the success of the first Bond cars exhibition staged at Beaulieu in 2001, we are delighted to be working on this new display, bringing together the world’s largest collection of Bond vehicles.’

As well as marking half a century of the Bond franchise, the exhibition will form part of the National Motor Museum’s own 40th anniversary celebrations in 2012.
