REGENT STREET CLASSICS
Thursday, 29 September 2011 00:00

NovNewsMiniLondon’s famous Regent Street will be traffic-free for a display of over 300 iconic cars representing pioneering motoring achievements across the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries on Saturday, November 5 – with free access to members of the public.

Hosted by the RAC in conjunction with the Regent Street Association, the first presentation of what’s described as a ‘unique motoring extravaganza’ will span over a third of a mile of Regent Street – from Piccadilly Circus to Conduit Street – and is expected to entertain over 250,000 visitors.

At the heart of the event will be a concours d’elegance, which will include around a hundred veteran cars, with drivers and passengers in period costume – giving onlookers a chance to see some of the vehicles that will be taking part in the iconic London to Brighton Veteran Car Run the following day.
