As classic Morgans go, the Plus 4 Plus is just about the rarest of the lot – with a mere 26 examples sold between 1964 and ’67. Now though, Morgan dealer Melvyn Rutter is offering for sale the very last Plus 4 Plus bodyshell – presenting an opportunity  to create a very special car.

The Plus 4 Plus was Morgan’s sole attempt to build a more modern sports car in the ’60s, and was the only coupe offered by the company at the time. Sadly, buyers didn’t take to the Plus 4 Plus in the same way as Morgan’s more traditional models.

According to Melvyn, two complete bodyshells remained unused by the factory – and this is the only one now left in its raw state, offering somebody an opportunity to purchase the sole remaining Plus 4 Plus bodyshell that was never made into a car. It is priced at £18,750.
