The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu has released details of its planned events for 2012 – and it all kicks off with the Simply Ford show, which takes place on Sunday, May 6, celebrating all that’s great about Blue Oval vehicles of all ages.

The museum itself will be celebrating the following day, as it marks its own 40th anniversary with a May Day Cavalcade – setting the scene for a whole season of celebratory events during this important year. Bargain hunters, meanwhile, will want to make a note of the Spring Autojumble and International Autojumble dates, which have now been confirmed as May 19-20 and September 8-9 respectively.   

Other Beaulieu highlights of 2012 include the Simply Italian show (May 13), the National Mini Cooper Rally (June 10), the German Show (July 22), Simply Classics (August 26) and the Supercar Showdown (August 27).
