If the idea of an action-packed weekend that’s cheaper to enjoy than last year’s sounds interesting, you need to head to the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power. This Cheshire-based show for petrolheads is now in its fifth year, with the 2012 event taking place on June 15-17.

Early-bird tickets are now on sale, with prices slashed by 25 per cent compared with the 2011 charges. Adult day tickets are available from just £18 for the Friday, rising to £24 for the Saturday or Sunday. And with under-16s offered free entry, this year’s Pageant of Power offers good family value.
