50 YEARS OFF ROAD

AprNews50Land Rover is celebrating 50 years of using Eastnor Castle as its centre for off-road activities.

Rover first used Eastnor in the early ’60s, when the 5,000-acre estate was deemed ideal for testing Land Rovers.

As well as the cars themselves, Eastnor has been instrumental in helping to develop an impressive range of Land Rover technologies – including anti-lock brakes, air suspension and electronic traction control.
