A DAY IN THE LIFE
Wednesday, 19 January 2011 17:56

lifeThe Story Of The British Grand Prix 1964 is a must for petrolheads everywhere because it offers an intimate and revealing glimpse into the lives of Sixties racing drivers. As well as footage of the 1964 British GP, there’s a fantastic fly-on-the-wall documentary called Time Between. This follows drivers Graham Hill, Bruce McLaren, Innes Ireland and Mike Hailwood during the 13 days between the French Grand Prix at Rouen and the Brands Hatch race. Rare black and white footage shows these four greats away from the track – attending business meetings, pursuing their own interests and filling in the downtime with even more racing. At just £20, it’s well worth a look.
