New lever arm dampers aren’t currently available for MGBs, but Moss is now offering high-quality reconditioned/exchange damper assemblies.
Each core unit is carefully inspected before it’s reconditioned. The unit is then stripped and thoroughly cleaned ready for reassembly.

Dampers are then reassembled using new multi-lip seals and a lid gasket, before being filled with the correct specification oil. They’re painted once they’ve been tested for damping performance on MG’s original test jig.

Units are priced £104.40, but this does not include the £30 surcharge. (Moss will refund the surcharge upon the receipt of a rebuildable core unit).
